New Connection

From the Connector Library tab, you can create connection.  To create:

  1. Select a connector
  2. Click the New Connection button for that connector to bring up the Create New Connection dialog
  3. Enter the properties of the new connection

    1. Authentication Type – Type of the authentication (required)
      1. SCCM – Windows Authentication, SQL Authentication
      2. AD – Microsoft Active Directory
      3. SQL – Active Directory, SQL Native
      4. MySQL – User-Pass
      5. CSV – Windows Authentication
      6. Intune – Windows Authentication
      7. Druva – Token
      8. ServiceNow – User-Pass
      9. CrashPlan – User-Pass
      10. VMware – User-Pass
    2. Unique Label – Unique label to prepend to all database tables (required)
      1. SCCM
      2. AD
      3. SQL
      4. MySQL
      5. CSV
      6. Intune
      7. Druva
      8. ServiceNow
      9. CrashPlan
      10. VMware
    3. Source Server – Name of the source server (required)
      1. SCCM
      2. AD

    4. Source Server Port – Port of the source server (required)

    6. Select Jobs – Select which jobs are enabled (optional)

    7. User Name – User account used to connect to the source server (required)
      1. SCCM – SQL Authentication
      2. MS SQL – SQL Native
      3. MySQL – User-Pass
      4. Intune – Windows Authentication
      5. ServiceNow – User-Pass
      6. CrashPlan – User-Pass
      7. VMware – User-Pass
    8. User Password – Password of the user account used to connect to the source server (required)

  4. Click the Activate button when finished to create the connection. You will be redirected back to the Connector Library tab. Click the Close button to cancel the operation.
    1. The new connection function is only available to users in the Administrator security group
